The Three Questions  Summary

Once a king thought that he would never fail if he knew the answer of three questions-

  1. What is the right time to begin something?

  2. Which people should he listen to?

  3. What is the most important thing for him to do?

No one could reply the correct answer. 

In reply to the first question some said the king must prepare a time table and then  follow strictly.

In answer to the second question, some said that his Councillors, priest, doctors, soldiers were the most important person to listen to. 

In answer to the third question, some said that science was the most important, some said fighting and yet others suggested religious worship. 

The king was also advised to go to magicians because they look into the future.

The king was not satisfied by their answers and didn't reward them. 

Then the king decided to meet a certain hermit who was very famous for his wisdom. 

Ultimately, the king went to hermit in disguise of a very simple man. The hermit was digging the ground. The king asked his questions, but the hermit did not reply.

The king took the spade from him and started digging the ground.

In the evening, the king now wanted to go. He again asked his questions. The hermit said, "Here comes someone running".

The king saw a bearded man. He pressed his stomach from which blood was flowing. He came near but fainted fell down. 

The king and the hermit removed the wounded man's shirt, washed the wound and covered it with handkerchief. Then redressed the wound. 

They carried him into the hut and laid him on the bed.

In the morning the bearded man said that he was an old enemy of the king and wanted to take revenge and kill him. He asked the king to forgive him

The king forgave him and promised to give back his property. The king promised to give back his property. The king also said he would send his servants and his own doctor to look after him.

At last the hermit told the answer to the king that the right time is present time "now". 

The most important person is the person who is with you at present moment.

The most important thing to do is to do good to others.

The king when he was with the hermit, for him hermit was the most important person.

When the bearded man came, he was the most important man for him.

When the king was serving for them was the most important work for him.

The Three Questions  Summary in Hindi

एक बार एक राजा ने सोचा कि यदि वह तीन प्रश्नों का उत्तर जानेगा तो वह कभी असफल नहीं होगा-

  1. किसी चीज़ को शुरू करने का सही समय क्या है?

  2. उसे किन लोगों की बात सुननी चाहिए?

  3. उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम क्या है?

कोई भी सही उत्तर नहीं दे सका।

पहले सवाल के जवाब में कुछ लोगों ने कहा कि राजा को टाइम टेबल तैयार करना चाहिए और फिर सख्ती से पालन करना चाहिए।

दूसरे प्रश्न के उत्तर में, कुछ ने कहा कि उनके पार्षद, पुजारी, डॉक्टर, सैनिक सबसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति थे।

तीसरे प्रश्न के उत्तर में, कुछ ने कहा कि विज्ञान सबसे महत्वपूर्ण था, कुछ ने कहा कि लड़ाई और फिर अन्य लोगों ने धार्मिक पूजा का सुझाव दिया।

राजा को जादूगरों के पास जाने की भी सलाह दी गई क्योंकि वे भविष्य को देखते हैं।

राजा उनके जवाबों से संतुष्ट नहीं थे और उन्हें पुरस्कृत नहीं किया।

तब राजा ने एक निश्चित धर्मगुरु से मिलने का फैसला किया जो अपनी बुद्धिमत्ता के लिए बहुत प्रसिद्ध था।

अंतत: राजा एक बहुत ही साधारण व्यक्ति के भेष में आश्रम में गया। वह जमीन को खोद रहा था। राजा ने अपने प्रश्न पूछे, लेकिन उसने उत्तर नहीं दिया।

राजा ने उससे कुदाल ली और जमीन खोदना शुरू कर दिया।

शाम को, राजा अब जाना चाहता था। उसने फिर अपने सवाल पूछे। संत ने कहा, "यहां कोई दौड़ता हुआ रहा है"

राजा ने एक दाढ़ी वाले व्यक्ति को देखा। उसने अपना पेट दबाया जिसमें से खून बह रहा था। वह पास आया लेकिन बेहोश होकर नीचे गिर गया।

राजा और संत ने घायल आदमी की शर्ट को हटा दिया, घाव को धोया और उसे रूमाल से ढक दिया। फिर घाव का निवारण किया।

उन्होंने उसे झोपड़े में ले जाकर बिस्तर पर लिटा दिया।

सुबह दाढ़ी वाले व्यक्ति ने कहा कि वह राजा का पुराना दुश्मन था और बदला लेना चाहता था और उसे मारना चाहता था। उसने राजा से उसे क्षमा करने के लिए कहा

राजा ने उसे माफ कर दिया और उसे संपत्ति वापस देने का वादा किया। राजा ने यह भी कहा कि वह अपने नौकरों और अपने डॉक्टर को उसकी देखभाल के लिए भेजेगा।

अंत में संत ने राजा को उत्तर दिया कि सही समय वर्तमान समय है "अब"

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति वह व्यक्ति है जो वर्तमान समय में आपके साथ है।

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि दूसरों का भला करें।

राजा जब उस संत के साथ था, तो वह उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति था।

जब दाढ़ी वाला आदमी आया, तो वह उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण आदमी था।

जब राजा उनलोगों के लिए सेवा कर रहा था तो ये उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम था।
