 Vocation Poem Summary in English CLASS 6

'Vocation' is a nice poem written by Rabindranath Tagore. In this poem a little boy wishes to do different jobs.

He meets a hawker, a gardener and a watchman.

The hawker was selling bangles, Gardener was planting plants and watchman was walking on the streets.

When the child watches a hawker crying, “Bangles, Crystal bangles!” He feels that the job of hawker is funny and he could do it. When he looks a gardener he wishes to do that job so that nobody would scold him if he gets dust or wet while digging.

Outside his room he saw a watchman swinging his lantern then he wished to do that job and no one would scold him for going to bed in time.

'वोकेशनरवींद्रनाथ टैगोर द्वारा लिखी गई एक अच्छी कविता है। इस कविता में एक छोटा लड़का अलग अलग काम करना चाहता है।

वह एक फेरीवाला, एक माली और एक चौकीदार से मिलता है।

फेरीवाला चूड़ियाँ बेच रहा था, माली पौधे लगा रहा था और चौकीदार सड़कों पर टहल रहा था।

जब बच्चा एक फेरीवाले को रोता हुआ देखता है, "चूड़ियाँ, क्रिस्टल की चूड़ियाँ!" उसे लगता है कि फेरीवाले का काम मजाकिया है और वह ऐसा कर सकता है। 

जब वह एक माली देखता है तो वह उस काम को करना चाहता है ताकि खुदाई करते समय धूल या गीला होने पर कोई उसे डांटे नहीं।

अपने कमरे के बाहर उसने एक चौकीदार को अपनी लालटेन झूलते हुए देखा, फिर उसने वह काम करने की इच्छा की ताकि कोई भी उसे समय पर बिस्तर पर जाने के लिए डांटे नहीं।
